The Sherpa line from Enicar was introduced in November of 1956, after an Enicar was used in a summit of Mount Everest; henceforth, all of its explorer or tool watches bore the Sherpa moniker. There was the Sherpa Date, Sherpa GMT, Sherpa World Timer, and Sherpa Diver like the one we have here. This is an early example from the late 1950s / early 1960s and has an unusual center seconds hand. It boasts a rotating bezel and black dial with tritium lume plots. This Enicar is sure to set you apart.
