The IWC Pilots Watch UTC 3251 was introduced in 1998. Compared to the contemporary regular pilots watch, the Mark XV, its case was slightly larger, whilst the moment was upgraded to include a second time zone display in the form of a rotating 24-h disc.
Up until 2003 the UTC was powered by caliber 37526; later versions feature the 30710 movement. Spitfire versions, with more elaborate dials, were added to the line-up in 2005.
Reference IW3251-01 has a Stainless Steel case and a Black dial.
